THE BEST PLACES I HAVE VISITED IN TURKEY

Traveling is fun and its very interesting to me. Looking to learn more history about countries with their cultures trying new things around their culture their past because if you wanna look at the future of something look at the past. In 2015 , I had an opportunity to visit the country that i have been dreamed since i was a kid which is Turkey.

Turkey is a unique European State because its located mainly in western Asia, with a smaller portion on the Balkan Peninsula in Southern Europe. The country that famous for the history of Islamic glory and is also known for its various cultures associated with Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman government.

Attaturk Airport
Travel to Turkey takes 10-12 hours from Kuala Lumpur and time difference in Turkey is over 5 hours from Malaysia . In this trip , our adventure in Turkey is only take 7 days and 6 night. On the first day , I arrived at the airport called ''Ataturk airport'' in Istanbul. Actually, I was quite surprised by the weather there. It's very cold and quite windy due to the expected winter arrivals during that week. . Let's start ;)

In the first place , Haghia Sofia has impressed me with its beauty and the uniqueness of the architecture . Haghia Sofia is one of the most beautiful historical monuments in Turkey and symbolizes the hierarchy of Christian architecture and Islam. Originally, Haghia Sofia was a church and later become a mosque . Haghia Sofia is now a museum and is one of Turkey's most popular place .

In Haghia Sofia .
(unfortunately , maintenance work is in progress at this time)

The second place is Topkapi Palace . Topkapi Palace is the largest Palace in Istanbul, Turkey that consists of exotic buildings and sprawling gardens . Its also listed as one of the oldest in the world. With a total area of 700,000 acres (very large) , This palace was built during the reign of Sultan Muhamad Al-Fatih. Now , the castle has becomes a library , administrative and legal center . In Topkapi Palace it also stored a robe , the Sword of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W and the rest of the prophets .

The next one was a natural hot springs , Pamukkale . Its has a breathtaking scenery and also known as Cotton Castle because its look like snow has covered the river . The warmth of the water is not the only appealing aspect of these thermal pools, however. Equally as attractive is the striking contrast between the glistening pools and the travertinea type of white limestone deposited by thermal waters-that makes up the surrounding mountains. Its formed by white by white stone as like cotton , this white layer is actually a naturally occurring calcium minerals .

Attaturk Memorial Tomb

Our next destination is the most significant building for the Turks, the Mausoleum of Ataturk or Anitkabir, which means the Ataturk Grave. The complex is built on a hill located in the heart of Ankara. Here we can see the beauty of the capital. In this building we can see the body of Ataturk buried and showcase Ataturk's personal belongings and his life story. I want to share the life story of Ataturk but since there are two kinds of stories, the story we've heard about the secular Ataturk and another story from the Turkish people who told him how great he was so called Ataturk or Turkish Father)

The last one is in Cappadocia. Cappadocia lies in central Anatolia, in the heartland of what is now Turkey. The relief consists of a high plateau over 1000 m in altitude that is pierced by volcanic peaks, with Mount Erciyes (ancient Argaeus) near Kayseri (ancient Caesarea) being the tallest at 3916 m.All these stones are created due to the natural occurrence of volcanic eruptions and erosion since thousands of years ago. The gentle surface of the rock is eroded by wind and water so it creates some interesting patterns. These stones are called Fairy Chimney because of their shape like smoke chimneys and mushrooms The famoust thing to do here is enjoy the views of cappadocia on a hot air balloon . Sadly, i cant get the experience of riding a hot air balloon because of weather and wind factors .

The famous thing to do when you are here is enjoy the views of Cappadocia on a hot air balloon . Sadly, i cant get the experience of ride a hot air balloon because of  wind factors . Afterwards, we went to Pigeon Valley that located nearby . You can see a lot of  'blue thing' that hanged at the tree are called ''The Evil Eye'' . Its often used to avoid bad luck in the past , but now it is one of  the attracted souvenirs for travelers  .

On the whole , there's a lot of historical and interesting places to visited in Turkey . I can't list all of it here , but the listed out is the best among all . Therefore , make sure you have visited this places when you arrived at Turkey or you should not tell anyone that you have arrived here if you had never been  to this places .
