'Sayangi Malaysiaku'

''Hari Kemerdekaan" is the Independence Day of Malaysia. It is a national holiday which is celebrated on 31 August every year. It is to commemorate the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule on 31 August 1957. In a wider context, it also celebrates the formation of Malaysia. This year will be the historic year because it is the first time Malaysia were celebrated the National Day under new government which is Pakatan Harapan . The theme for this year is 'Sayangi Malaysiaku' and the logo were choosen by our Prime Minister , Tun Dr Mahathir itself .

The meaning of Logo

What we have today is a blessing and a fruit of wisdom of our forefathers who see the importance of social integrity to realize the dream of a peaceful, modern and liberal country. Therefore, celebrating the independence day is very important in our country . So that we can remember the people who have sacrificed to achieve independence for the homeland. Among the figures that are so rewarding to the country are Tunku Abdul Rahman, Rosli Dhobi, Rentap, Kanang and so on . They are willing to bite their bones from see their homeland where colonized by foreign powers like the British and Japan. They are also willing to charge their lives to pay the price of independence. It is clear here that the importance of celebrating the independence day in our country is to commemorate the service of the figure.

In addition , independence is very important for a country's education system . Education is very important in contributing towards unity , development and economy. Education can produce many generations of minds that will develop and drive the success of the country. The independence of the state can make its own education policy which is in line with the people . Before our country was independent , the nation's education system was based on race. The nation's education system after independent had unified the education system in which all races practiced the same education system according to the National Education Policy . The National Education System has produced hundreds thousands of school and institution in various fields . The government continuously improves the quality of the nation's education policy produce quality and knowledgeable children

Next, independence is also important for the economy of a country. Independent states can implement economic policies according to development in the interests of the country itself. Economic development can be carried out evenly from various fields and sectors either in urban or rural areas. 'Dasar Ekonomi Baru' (DEB) is one of the examples, a policy of economic development that aims to create a balanced development to create a simple, united and fair society. Today our country has made science and technology as one of the cornerstones of socio-economic development. If our country is not independent, it will definitely help in economic development. In addition, it is impossible to get outside investors to invest in non-independent countries.

Among other reasons is to maintain prosperity and prosperity for Malaysian races and countries. These fundamentals can narrow the income gap between ethnic groups. This is important as this is the cause of the May 13 event. Under this policy, the country has planned to modernize rural areas as well as to create a working environment that reflects the composition of ethnic groups in Malaysia. The government has improved the quality of life of the people, especially through education, health and infrastructure. Various campaigns have been made to apply the spirit of nationalism. Such a spirit is the essence of the state's power.

in conclusion, all should be harnessed to protect the state's independence. The state's independence must be firmly held for common interests. Existence of independence should not be restricted to elements that try to disturb Malaysia's independence and security. A sense of affection for Malaysia should be nurtured from childhood so that the younger generation will not forget about the responsibility to defend Malaysia's independence. Malaysia is always the number one in the soul and mind.
